Easy RS. Dems are doing both. Don’t get worked up by one firm’s opinion. It only triggers the far left. Unless that’s what you intend. Triggering the far left has only helped the far right the past many years.

I'm just a normie who wants trans people and children to be protected, is the "far left" in the room with us?
Dems: *slams their dick in the car door* you: “masterful gambit sir!”
Sure, because ignoring Palestine and trans rights has done wonders for winning elections. Perhaps you engage with progressives and you win elections?? Naw, just shoot straight for the centrists. That'll totally work this time.
Perhaps doing so would have made the Dems perform worse. Either way, show the data. My own view: 2024 was an anti-incumbency election worldwide, not just in the US, and that Dems did better than almost any other incumbent party on the planet. lpeproject.org/wp-content/u...
Also yeah that's why the Harris swap wpuld have worked if her campsign wasn't so dog shit. It worked for Carney just fine. The dems needed to break with biden and instead they tripled down on the campaign they already planned to run where they expected 100 electoral votes.
It would not have made them perform worse they lost hundreds of thousands of independents across swing stages with that stupid fucking genocide. They were willing to lose votes for israel, who colluded with trump openly to make dems lose. Total dumb fucks.
I seem to recall a bunch of these elections swinging more progressive in other countries, which led to anti-incumbency elections, including overturning some very conservative long-term rule.
That is kind of the point. It was a post-pandemic rejection of status quo and not likely to have been driven by policy so much as vibe.
Just-so stories about specific issues reinforce peoples’ priors but probably do little to explain the outcome.
Maybe you'll get exiled to the same island with these dipshits and we won't have to see your dumbass posts any more.
The Far Left is Far From The Schumercrats' Biggest Problem. Party leadership have up on what should be the party's pillars. Nobody who failed to vote for Harris is going to show up if all we do is double down on "We're Not Trump" without offering an ambitious vision people think might help them.
Unfortunately, tons bought into fascist lies, and uneducated and racist people voted for trump. Tons didn’t vote. And too many voted sparkle pony 3rd party unicorn. Do your OWN work. Then vote to WIN, not make a ‘statement’. That’s the very height of privilege. democrats.org/wp-content/u...
That's pretty fucking dumb! The campaign is supposed to do work convincing people to vote for them and turn out Instead the campaign openly bragged about shedding reliable dem voters for a year.
The more you comment, the more you sound like you're a conservative.
And stop regurgitating republican propaganda!!!!
That’s what the DEMS are for!!! Pay attention!!!!!!
I paid attention. I particularly paid attention at Kamala's closing arguments, where she happily said she wouldn't give tax cuts to the rich... with no talk of raising their taxes. We talked more about Healthcare after a CEO was killed than during the entire campaign. Still campaigned/voted for her!
But sorry, I'm done putting blame on voters, going "The American people were just too darn racist/sexist/stupid." No, we just failed to make enough people think we could improve their lives. We settled for "better than Trump." We can do so much better than that.
Hey look, a MAGA account pretending to be on the left. Get the fuck out of here, you traitor
