Individual states have that, but others don't. Elections are run by each state which has good and bad things because of it was federal all the states would probably been redistricted to favor Republicans already.

I am just surprised people are in favour of banning other parties. If every new government seeks to consolidate power and ban all opposition what kind of system is that. I might not agree with someone, but that doesn't mean they should not have their views heard especially in parliament.

In case you missed it, Texas has decided to redraw their districts specifically to exclude democrats. Making it so 5 seats are likely to go to Republicans that Dems currently hold. This move by Newsom is direct retaliation, and not the norm.

That sounds so terrible. This is why impartiality would benefit everyone because both sides wouldn't need to fight. This is a catalyst for civil war.
