Did it happen? We haven't heard much about those that did accept it after that first week, and that it was also a risky move.

When we spoke the person said they'd be there through 03/31. They were offered 25K to leave. Not sure if the 25K will come through or not. They felt it necessary to take the offer rather than be fired.
I get it! A bird in the hand... better to have sure thing knowing you'll be let go eventually anyway. I just hope that sure thing comes through! There was so much risk to that too & some people were told "derp never mind our mistake you don't qualify!" 🤬🤬🤬
I thought corporate America was rough when it came to layoffs. How they're treating the federal workers is despicable. The only one golfing that should be working from home is the 🍊💩. She's been around long enough to get her pension. Anything else was a crap shoot.
I know, it's just terrible. We used to talk about getting a gov job cause of all the perks & security, even if the pay topped out at some point. Now, it's like the plague, stay away! 💔
How will they even recruit (assuming there's an) after this mess? That's what happens when "businessmen" attempt to run a government. No business professional would make a good public servant. Business is driven by profit. Whereas government is expected to be of service to its citizens.
Bingo bingo bingo! Why is this so hard for people to understand?! Basic civics, and on that same ideology, keep money out of politics! We've mixed up what politics/politicians & policy/government is, thanks to Corp corruption & groups like citizen united. It's sickening.
Very much so. We've got so much work to do if we ever get out of this mess.
