Who isn’t using their brain? Defending the status quo is not what I would call using one’s brain. The opposite in fact. You’re worried about low paying jobs and a crashing economy? What do you think is happening right now?

It’s not crashing. Go out and see how much people are spending and tell me it’s not. Everyone would like a little more to make things easier but trashing companies and stealing pensions is crazy.

The pensions that the majority have. Do t you k ow what a pension is and how they invest in stocks and so how destroying companies would destroy pensions ? Or are you going to try and drag everyone down to your level of ineptitude ?

Pensions are a defined benefit which is why companies forced people into 401 retirement accounts which is not a pension. The account managers make decisions and skim fees off the top. Instead of letting your money earn compound interest you are at their whim and can lose or gain.

No they aren’t. US pension schemes seem very generous given the relative wealth of ordinary US retirees. Maybe my perception is wrong but I never see a shortage of US retirees touring the world.

I am sure you are right but this may be the last generation where you see that many. Many of us did have pensions but companies moved away from them as I said. Also the well to do Boomers are some fraction of the whole, not sure what percent. You don’t see the 65s who had to return to work.

Also. Creating a lot of low pay service jobs while slashing funds for say cancer research, which was done, is not creating a resilient economy. If you can’t see how the rich are sucking everything and everyone dry you are hiding your head in the proverbial sand.

But that’s all you lot are capable of doing. Low on the educational rankings and utterly dependent upon immigrants at the top and immigrants at the bottom. And your country voted for Trump so you dont get to pass that guilt into other countries and pretend they have the same issue.
