it sounds like you're dissatisfied with a particular clique and that's fine, they might just not be your people. that doesn't need to mean something grander about your place in the world as a trans person

it’s literally not a clique blair! I’m bemoaning the fact that some people get to date within their friend group and there are large structural factors preventing me from having the same experience. I don’t have confidence issues and i am saturated platonically. it’s okay to not understand

I do understand, believe me. I've been around a while. The world of trans people didn't come into existence in 2020 and it is not defined by whatever trends have emerged since then. I know a lot of people you think are on the other side of this could empathize.
