Yeah, American libertarianism is dead as a "real" ideology, insofar as it ever was. A lot of the genuinely committed libertarians I knew just became left-liberals after January 6.

I effectively became a left liberal when he came down the escalator. I never thought it was a permanent thing, because obviously he would soon lose and we could get back to policy debates. Then the fucking traitorous imbeciles in this country kept electing him.
