After all of the Knicks roster shuffling today, here's where the team stands: 3 on two-way contracts: T. Evbuomwan T. Jemison III K. McCullar 6 on Ex. 9 or 10 contracts: M. Brogdon M. Diawara A. Len G. Mathews M. Ryan L. Shamet 2/2

Brogdon's on a camp contract? What's up with that?
If Brogdon gets injured before the end of camp, then you're stuck with him. If he's on a camp deal, he can be waived w/o consequences. Also, the spot may go to Shamet as there's only room for 1 vet minimum player.
Thanks for the breakdown. The new CBA seems to be squeezing mid-level and aging talent hard.
I don’t know why the players agreed to this. Most teams will have 3-4 guys eating up most of the $ then 10 guys making 2-4 million
It feels to me (I haven't pulled any data on this) like teams are using the transition from the pre-apron CBA to the present to squeeze mid-level, mid-career talent guys on salary. Or it may be that teams are making a hard judgment call that a 21-yo with upside is better for them than 2 know 28-yo.
