Heard weird sounds from washing machine in basement like water overflowing. Doesn't sound good. Check laundry room....everything fine. Walking back upstairs, notice standing water in hallway near bedroom. Turns out literal shit water has been POURING out of toilet and up from shower & is EVERYWHERE.

I will be hiring out the cleanup. Even the plumber was like, "Yeah, you should call PowerDry and let them deal with it. It'll be worth it." Big area rug, cheap mattress, and set of sheets are going in the trash. But hopeful that's the limit of the damage.

Thanks, C. We'll be fine. No one was hurt. It's just stuff. My daughter and her roommate were visiting this weekend and her roommate stayed down in that bedroom. They left this morning and this happened right after. Coulda been worse! The roommate could have been down there when it happened. 🤮

Thanks! The rug in the bedroom soaked up most of it. There's a mattress on the floor & sheets on that that's ruined. But the rug stopped it from getting over to the other side of the room to all the framed pictures (& posters!) stored in there. All good! It's just stuff. You can replace stuff.
