Can you get Alberta onside to stop Cdn crude heading south? If it must keep flowing, eliminate any subsidy on oil to the US market and put a 35% export tax on it. Industry would be camped out in the Oval Office.

As I understand it, Cdn crude is a heavy oil that American refineries are set up to handle. It would take time and money to retool them to handle lighter crude from elsewhere. And Cdn crude is discounted. So yes, Putin and Saudis might be in his ear, but American refineries are in his other ear.🫠
