i find budget chianti imports to be a pretty dispiriting category overall but this one is richer and riper than most without sacrificing backbone. still acidic enough to match tomato sauce, but unlike a lot of cheap chianti it’s also complex and satisfying on its own.

amazing! i just stumbled on it at the mediocre liquor store next to my local acme grocery here in delaware, but if i ever make it to tuscany i’ll put it on the itinerary

honestly i don't know the wine. but i *highly* recommend the area. close to siena, amazing wines & restaurants, local pici, even the roadstops are extraordinary.
