We have one of the few lowland broch three miles from here . Also iron age - a mix of defence, iron age I'm rich what you going to do about it, and protection for cattle against raiders. This isn't ours - it's on one of the Shetland islands but gives a sense of size en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broch
