Russia has no cards to play in 'retaliation'. They have been 'retaliating' every day. US officials need to stop huffing Kremlin talking points.

Russian retaliation is a few days or so of less drones and rockets follow by a massive attack. They have been doing those kind of "retaliation" from the beginning. It just pure propaganda for their own population and for western fear mongers to use.

The Russians ”retaliate” because Ukraine was better off financially than Russia. They were literally moving on from Soviet despair.
