I think all this political consultant strategizing really underestimates the power of a candidate going ten toes down. Whether that be allyship w/lgbtq peeps, immigrants, Palestinians, and/or the unhoused. Or a platform of affordability or housing for all. Let's demand better from our candidates.

Zohran won because of his steadfast allyship and beating the drum of affordability not despite it. He got more votes than anyone thought possible. On the flip side maga go ten toes down on hating immigrants and win. US politics is weird, AOC/Trump voters exist. Centrism is unpopular
