Oh my god, just had an organization pull such a dick move. They offered me an interview, didn't specify any constraints for when I could select a date. So I picked today, because I was in hawaii last week. Today they cancelled because interviews were last week ONLY. YOU SHOULD HAVE SPECIFIED.
initial email was like "hey we care about flexibility and inclusivity so this is going to be a blind phone screen so we don't carry any implicit bias into it"
if you cant be clear and upfront about candidate expectations, you probably cant be clear and upfront about job expectations, so not an organization I'd want to work for anyway. good to know.
