Honestly, that is the best thing to do with carrots
The worms appreciate the extra effort but they would some honey glazed next time
That bad, were they? I've given up buying carrots in Lidl.
Did something similar making a stock from prawn shells. Once it was ready, I tipped the whole lot in to the colendar, which was in the sink.
It feels inappropriate to hit the red heart for this one 🤷♂️. You must have been so cross with yourself.
I just sighed, really. Not like I haven’t done similar before, or won’t do again.
I was making breakfast and cracked an egg into the sink
We provide vegetable scraps to the wild rabbits in our yard. When I make a salad, I make a second "rabbit salad" with the scrapings. I cannot tell you the number of times I have accidentally added scrapings meant for the rabbits to the human salad and had to pick them all out again.
Done this one. Saw myself doing it and didn't stop.
