Maybe cuz Putin had broken into someone in @sanders.senate.gov's campaign's computer just like they did w/ the computer of Clinton's top advisor John (can't recall his last name now)? And by then dirt on Bernie's campaign or top people in it was irrelevant and would be a pointless privacy violation?

I actually know the likely answer: Devine had worked for Manafort on an election campaign in Ukraine for the scumbag who was overthrown in Ukraine's '14 revolution. Devine was Bernie's campaign manager in his successful '06 Senate campaign & Jeff Weaver persuaded him to hire him despite reluctance.

I guess I'll stick to believing Bernie. I've been on his side since he was mayor. If there was stronger evidence beyond a few pictures maybe I would be swayed. I will ask him, if I remember next time he comes to my town which is every couple of months or if I go to Burlington I can go to his office
