Slotkin, as far as I can tell, is a poll-tested politician who only thinks about how best to pretend to be centrist. There's no real core to her beyond doing what's best for her constituency. And that constituency is Slotkin.

The idea that there’s a distinction between a middle class and working class is more a British thing. In the USA working class is a subset of middle class.It just means maga flavored middle class.
