And then we have the people who say they cannot vote for him and rather do not vote and we will loose again.
And then we have the people who say they cannot vote for him and rather do not vote and we will loose again.
then maybe he shouldn’t run on a platform of “trans people shouldn’t get to participate in society or get healthcare” - and if all you can say is “that’s not exactly what he said! he’s done good things in the past!” i don’t know how to get through to you
we’ve got three years to pick someone better, and Pritzker and Walz are *both* doing better right now. if we can’t find someone better in three years, we don’t deserve to win
Then the country is done. I prefer Pritzker for the same reasons but people will find something negative about him. And the next option.
i’m okay with some negatives, everyone has them. i don’t think all negatives are equal, and if the negative is “i can’t get medical care, use public restrooms, have accurate id, or go outside without being assaulted” then i don’t think you can reasonably expect me to “work with that”
I don’t. And I get it. But look at what the alternative is. More Fascism. We had the same effect with “I cannot vote for Harris. She is way too soft on Israel.” And where did that get us now? I wish we had an ideal candidate. But we won’t. Thankfully (?) still time.
there are >350 million people in the USA. at least *one* of them isn’t willing to throw ethics under the bus whenever they think it’s politically expedient. i look forward to the DNC finding them.
there's also Andy Beshear, he's like Clinton without the baggage.
I prefer Pritzer but no way will I not vote or lose. As they say in a Code Blue. PICK IT AND STICK TO IT.
