Well at least you recgonize that. The only answer is to apply pressure, piles of it. Not just by peaceful protesting, either. Every time the American government has agreed to anything progressive, it has been a concession because someone kept breaking shit and shooting people and blowing shit up

The suffragettes burned several buildings down and blew things up, I assume I don't need to tell you about the Black Panthers, and stonewall was a riot. To be honest, the BLM and "No Kings" and recent Pro-Palestine protests have been so fucking tame in comparison. No wonder they aren't budging.

Even as tame as they are, reactionaries will always piss their pants about any protest. Palestine Action put red paint on some planes and now they're labeled a terrorrist organization. Same thing with all the protests in America, even liberals sometimes say they're "too far" somehow

Clearly, the argument to have "good optics" is fucking over. They'll label you the worst possible things for having a conscience at all. May as well do what actually works 🤷‍♀️
