I think the idea of quiet quitting is BS. I think CEO from the boomer generation never had to get to daycare before 5PM or face fines or losing child care. So when a parent says they have to leave ..... the conclusion is that they are lazy or mediocre or ... quiet quitting.

the last place I interviewed didn’t hire me because I quit a job after 3 months when they guaranteed flexibility, lied, and I couldn’t get to daycare in time making it impossible for me to work there… that was “concerning” to the prospective employer
