While I’ll give him credit for meeting the moment, he deserves scorn for his shitty podcast alone. He deserves it even more for throwing trans people under the bus and proposing a $2000 asset test for Medi-Cal recipients. When so fucking many of us in games, tech, and media are out of work!!

I agree. Any Californian who pays attention knows he's not to be trusted, yet he's the one standing up. His treatment of our trans community is appalling. He needed to stand up and fight for trans kids. The medi-cal asset test undermines the entire purpose of having a social safety net. 🧵 1/2

🧵2/2 Someone loses their job and needs health insurance, now they have to lose everything before they can qualify? People with disabilities have to exist in abject poverty to "deserve" their care? It's inhumane. I hate that he's the hero we've got. But at least he's willing to fight for democracy.
