Nope! I've been adding local games that have no ties to GoG or EGS (Or Amazon too) and they all seem to work fine! I mean it is a case of your mileage may vary but it could be worth a shot. Out of curiosity what games are they?

I'm not too sure about the Ragnarok private server, as that's something I'm not interested in, but I could try some of the 80's/90's games see if I have a copy of them and give them a go.
