If not through a vote it will not withstand a court challenge. Plus, the voters are still empowered because they have they choice.

I disagree. I think asking for permission will mobilize a huge maga-vote, whereas just doing it would mobilize his base. Dems are losers who love losing. They will never learn to outmaneuver Trump.

Generally registration runs about 45% D, 25% R, 20-25% NP and 5-10% other. I think R enthusiasm will be lower than 2024 due to the ICE crackdown and Epstein D and D-leaning NP will be higher.

I live here too. I believe it’ll pass but I just hate that they haven’t learned to move with aggression. I think it’ll continue to be their undoing. Let’s see if they get outsmarted.
