Who says I'm attacking Newsom. I'm Canadian. There's nothing I can do about America's ongoing dumpster fire but point and either laugh or cry, plus fight the Neville Chamberlain types in my own country.

I'm not the one being critical of Newsom. Who benefits from these attacks? The GOP. And, good grief, it is YEARS from the 2028 election. Being critical of Newsom is just stupid.

I think it is pointless at this stage in the election cycle. People asked for Dems to step up and defend democracy. Newsom does that very thing. The Far Left throws a hissy fit because it is him doing it and just weakens Dem support. They are just assholes who do nothing but bitch.

I think you need to work on differentiating between legitimate criticism & histrionics. This isn't football. You don't just pick a team, buy the jersey & call it a day. Even the best of us have room to grow and improve. It would be easy for Newsom to counter the criticism by changing his positions.

Again, what I have been seeing isn't legitimate, especially when contrasted with the fucking disaster currently in the White House. There is a difference between constructive criticism and just trashing someone while ignoring the dumpster fire in DC. That's my point.

So you would be happy if any criticism of any Democrat (or maybe only Newsom in particular?) opens with the statement "this isn't as bad as the fucking clowns in the white house, but..." Are you not able to just infer this sentiment?
