Interesting concept. While not for me, don't really want to be juggling sd cards for my games and would think a solution like the MiSTER/Zaparoo where you have the games installed but use NFC card tokens to launch them would give the same feel.

Just by reading their docs, I guess you could pack a card with an emulator, several ROMs and set up the emulator as the main launcher. Kinda cool but I guess something like batocera is more manageable

Back in the day I bought a spindle of 100 cheap CD-Rs which was perfect for my, ahem, legit gaming needs. SD cards, even low capacity ones, are WAY more expensive. I feel like this is a bit backward, but clearly I'm not the target audience.
