I started using StartPage in my move away from Google. I bumped into that when looking up if honey counted and it hurt my brain. I'll have to edumacate meself if it turns out what I'm doing aren't working.
Honey is actually more risky for diabetics than plain table sugar, although it has other health benefits. I suggest finding a web page that has tables of glycemic index and glycemic load numbers for different foods. You'll figure it out. Not everybody needs to know the science. :)
