I don't know where russians get so much hatred for Ukrainians. Why are they doing this… Last night, another massive attack took place on my country. Dnipro, Pavlohrad, Lutsk, Dubno, Zaporizhzhia, and Kyiv were the most affected. Everything was flying: strike drones and missiles of various types.
Because they are inhumane. Or not human. Take your pick.
According to the authoritarian's logic, he cannot seem weak. After Ukraine's successful campaign to cause widespread fuel shortages, Putin must show some form of revenge. The more the better. His regime would collapse like the house of cards it is if he didn't.

Putin just wants control over Ukraine for his own ego, "Putin the Great". Any war helps to keep him in power. The root cause was ego, although hate is generated as a tool. It's a horrible ancient game and humanity has not managed to contain it. The fate of the free world depends on Ukraine.
Time to take the war to Russia?
