We are not all that way. Some of us truly believe in following Jesus and loving the other individual which means not judging.

Agreed, though this post isn't about being better than them. I'm not a beliver in gods, but I do believe that not all humans who think different than me are the enemy to be purged. However, I will fight for my right to be left alone by anyone who knows with certainty what I should think, do, or say.
I'm more than happy to afford that prerogative to others as I want the same for me.
As an atheist, I would like to thank you for your post.
I agree, there are good people caught up in religion. I used to be one of them. Then I engaged in critical thinking and asked WHY I believed in all that. Because that’s what I was taught as a child. It’s cultural conditioning. Do you really believe you’re going to live after you actually die?
I truly do not know. However I have experienced some weird things in my life and believe that there is more than we know to the universe.
I do. I detest what’s going on and what the MAGA cult stands for but for me it doesn’t change what I believe/know/hope to be true — and my responsibility to serve others. But I certainly understand these sentiments…and the anger.
