Only if they don’t let musk and his satellites anywhere near voting machines.

Voting machines from either Dominion or Smartmatic are not connected to any networks. The machines simply output the votes in a QR code to a special type of paper that is put in lock boxes that go to the counting sites. They compare the paper votes to the internal counts to verify no hanky panky

But the voting machines have completely opaque proprietary software that could do anything. Just the fact that ppl QUESTION the Black Boxes means we need more transparent elections. Hand marked paper ballots, hand counted or on machines running Open Source software. Frequent required audits.

Not possible local sites have no access to the source code. The code is programmed by the manufacturer. Open the machines all you want. It's like trying to make love to an 800lb gorilla. You can try all you want, but you'll never get your way.

No can do they are not connected to any networks. The process that can be messed with are human counted locations like in rural areas that can not afford the technology. I've worked in election operation centers for 24 years. Technology-based systems have a lot of checks and balances.

These systems were designed by really smart technology people. Ballots are counted and recounted at least 20 times both by humans and machines before the numbers are verified. That's why Fox lost $800B in the Dominion lawsuit. Smartmatic is going to double that.

I would be very interested in your take on the alleged hack by Musk's starlink sats. Have you read the article? And are you planning on continuing to work in election ops?

I have not, and yes, I will. I work in the technology operations side for a few months ago each year. I have worked in 2 of the largest counties in California. It's impossible to cheat unless every mid and top level employees are comprised. Then there are people like me keeping an eye out.

I don't know why people even bring this up. Starlink is an internet service. It's nothing else but an internet service. It literally carries email from point A to point B. The hack happened before that

Such a hack is as ridiculous as when GOPtards made the reverse claim on the previous election cycle. Keyword: EVIDENCE (too many cross-checks make it not viable as a theory)

You know why this is though right? Why it's happening? Because they credit Elon Musk with magical intelligence. They believe that he is capable of coding an ISP go through contortions it's incapable of doing and executing programs.

Exactly! His entire career has been built on taking credit for other people's work, to the point that now people believe that he can sit on his toilet and code a program to throw an election with 200 million ballots in the mix. But that he can code it perfectly. A self-taught coder.

The numbers weren't changed in the internet. The numbers were changed in the boxes. You know, the ones that have USB ports for maintenance and updates.

Clem H. Fandango @sferroni.bsky.social

This QR embeds the system # and other info. They are crossed checked system by system to verify each system over and over. There are no usb ports on the systems that is a DonPedo made-up lie. The only external port is the power supply port to power up the system.

The Enemy Within, I guess? @callic.bsky.social

Actually, I learned about the USB ports in the machines back in 2016. The technicians use them for maintenance and updating. Because how are the machines software updated?

jul 20, 2025, 7:21 pm • 1 0 • view

Clem H. Fandango @sferroni.bsky.social

Nope, you have to physically open the machine. But you can't change anything internal. You need special hardware to download new code, and only Dominion or Smartmatic have that ability to do it. Also, only the executable code is embedded in the machines. Nobody has access to the source code period.

Clem H. Fandango @sferroni.bsky.social

If the machines need updating, the vendors come to the facility and do it themselves. Nobody at the facility has access to do that. You can list what it's all day they have been addressed by the vendor. These are smart people, even I am impressed. I worked in tech for 30 years.

Should be interesting. A county that had a 70+% Dem down vote didn’t have a single vote for the Dem candidate for president. The odds are impossible. A judge has ordered discovery and it’s scheduled for September. And it’s not the only county with this anomaly.

Work in an election center, and you will see for yourself how secure these processes are. The only sites I am concerned about are GOP remote counties, but the number of voters is miniscule to really swing a national election.

And when we do see things that are statistically pretty much in the realm of impossible, like the margin percentages for denying recounts being met just perfectly in every single locality red and blue, I have questions.

Clem H. Fandango @sferroni.bsky.social

Well, here in California, we don't have these problems. The biggest issue here is family members submitting a ballot of a dead relative like a .0001%, and they usually get caught.

jul 20, 2025, 7:54 pm • 1 0 • view

Clem H. Fandango @sferroni.bsky.social

The boxes are filled with a special type of QR code ballots. That contains coded info that you can not change. That's why DonPedo is pushing for hand-written ballots and hand counting. The machines you vote on are not more than ballot markers due to the chads issue in the Bush/Gore election.
