Conservatives have been claiming their movement is punk for years. They have a child's idea of punk. They think punk is "I get to be mean" and similarly think rap is "I get to say the N-word".

It's binary thinking run amok, it doesn't stop at Rap or Punk, country = God and Guns, Metal = Satan, Jazz = sensuality, Classical = Snobbish elitism....Never has one group been so dull about the arts and yet wonder why they aren't artists.
