No he absolutely is, he is an expert on immigration and the related laws. It's fine to disagree with his conclusions or predictions, but he absolutely knows the topic in excruciating detail.
If this were a question of immigration law, you'd be on to something, but it's not. This is about history and human nature. It's been explained thousands of times by now, but Auschwitz wasn't a death camp on day one. The horrors escalated over time, and we're very much within them now.
