In my lifetime, the CDC was known globally as the ultimate go-to place for solving the big virus/health crises. Their scientists were the heroes. Their reputation was legendary. To think the CDC is now a hollowed-out husk because of Jenny McCarthy and RFK Jr.'s bullshit quackery is beyond belief.
