Even if we got him, it would be extremely unlikely that he would play against the Toon with all this bad feeling. Not fair on the player. Too risky.

Exactly and with Ekitikes performances, if he carries it on Vs Newcastle it doesn't mean Isak would be guaranteed Vs arsenal either, when you could just ease him in

I’m extremely relaxed about the whole Isak situation tbh. Same way as I feel about a scoop of ice-cream on my apple crumble and custard: if there’s some going, I’ll have it. If not, no worries.Still happy. Going to be a good season I reckon

I'm the same, now if we didn't have a striker I'd be a little concerned, however Ekitike is showing we might not even require Isak, just a depth option and let Hugo be the main man

Well Slot hates to lose anything so if we can rotate for all competitions without losing firepower, I’m sure everyone will get plenty of game time. I think we should keep Harvey and Chiesa though. No more selling now

I agree that he hates losing and we do need further depth up top, just don't think ekitike has to become that rotation piece just to sign Isak. I think Chiesa definitely stays as it's been reported he wants to. Harvey is difficult because he might want to but no one in for him yet

Hugo seems sharp but we need cover and Isak is the best available. What about Mo Salah though? The anticipation, speed, control and precision for his goal on Friday. Unreal. As long as he can play, he will always be the first choice up front. The others need to fit round him. I’m sure they will
