The problem was that Liverpool have clearly struggled defensively the last few games, Arsenal have spent 150M on attacking players that maybe could have exposed that yet Arteta fielded a defensive lineup. Gyokeres barely had a sniff and Eze was sat on the bench for over an hour. Total bottle job.
And apparently the new players should automatically be able to operate seamlessly. Got to love the hot takes 3 games out of 38 in.
Well Gyokeres did score last week and Eze is the finished article imo so that would suggest that it was the tactics or game plan that were off. I’m not drawing conclusions about the title from one game but fortune favours the brave so why not have a go? It’s ok to play for a point if you get one
