What a shit take. Most people became locked into the Apple/Android divide with the purchase of their first device, which may have been years or decades ago. There is no good side here. #Typedonmyipad

I’m curious to know how, just because 100% may not be doable, there is no value in trying. Example: my family used to buy like 70% groceries from Walmart and 30% from Smith’s (Kroger). Now it’s 30%/70% or so due to Kroger keeping DEI and Walmart abandoning it. Not perfect, but something.
Buying groceries is not like buying a phone/tablet/computer. You can change grocery stores on a whim without any consequences. Devices are expensive, often on contract. Once you have accumulated $ apps on devices it becomes difficult and expensive to change.
I agree. We have used Linux in our house for computers and the server for as long as I can remember. There’s no lock-in there. It’s awesome!🤩

I know where I stand. I’m not about to get on my high horse and snark at people without putting backing up my comments. I grew up listening to the old catholic/protestant rivalry, and the Apple/Android shit is no different.
I’m sorry that I don’t understand what you are saying. I wish I did.
