Until we get to the place that we understand that this has always been about race, this is always been about America, not wanting to deal with the original sin of this country (slavery), MAGA and their cronies are going to remain in power.
Agreed. I read a quote that none of this would be happening if we’d punished the confederacy harder.
Yep! There’s been so much rage since Obama became president as well. Too many outraged that a Black man wasn’t charge. Too many would rather lose everything than be led by Barack Hussein Obama. 🙄 So much racist, stupid.
Yes it would have. Let's not forget that this country was "founded" by ethnically cleansing the entire population that already existed here... it's a regurgitating cycle because we are not breaking it.
I think her point ( a black female PhD) was that our failure to punish the confederacy harder enabled white supremacy. It was a quote taken out of context but I still felt it was relevant.
Kamala Harris warned us over and over about what was going to happen. The PhD scholar you’re referring to knew this was going to happen as well. Now the administration is going after every brilliant, qualified Black woman in a place of power to erase history and progress.
It’s sickening.
Americans have accepted this as business as usual. The deep anti-blackness in this country, fear based BS. Amongst all immigrant populations, there is deep anti-blackness. Once American citizens, most migrants tend to be GOP voters. This backfired brutally this time on the Latino population esp.
