The last time Jerry Garcia & The Grateful Dead played Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum was 03/28/1994 -- show opened with Let the Good Times Roll.. and the encore? Brokedown Palace. So fitting.

I worked Nassau in ‘97(?). During sound check I threw on some Dead and the coliseum manager ran down. Turns out he was a huge head. Gave me a couple of tapes and let me tour the islanders locker room.
