Nirvana at the Roseland ballroom in 1993. I wasn't even a huge Nirvana fan but when a friend got tickets, I felt like I had to be there.

If that was the show in November (they also played Roseland in July) I went the night before at the New York Coliseum. And they did Unplugged 3 days later...on my birthday.

The show with The Jesus Lizard? I was at that show. Got real drunk and tried to fight Kennedy from MTV. That night lead to the Great Hangover of 1993.

Is was there, that was amazing. My friend I went with had seen Zeppelin numerous times and he said he never saw Page smile once on stage but had an ear to ear grin at this show. Also Audley Freed was the best guitarist that night IMO, he ripped it on those Fleetwood Mac covers

Ugh I would have gone but a friend’s band had a gig in Brooklyn and I thought I’d have other chances to see Nirvana 🙁
