If you cross the border illegally, you’re committing a crime. And you have no proof he’s not here illegally. If it’s shown he is here legally, by all means, let him go free. Why not.

Nope. Mexico and the US fought a war and signed a treaty. The US even paid Mexico for the land. The people in the former Mexican territories stayed and they and their descendants became Americans. The border is legitimate.

The U.S. sparked a war and stole land in a war both U.S. Grant and Lincoln acknowledged as unjust. Many Mexicans lost their land, as did the Native Tribes. You're an imperialist and a boot licker.

Most people without documentation crossed a border legally and overstayed. This father comitted a civil offense, on par with an obstructing traffic ticket. We do not violently arrest people for any other comparable offense.
