That's what it said on the top left of the page I opened too but I just scrolled down below it and could read it.

I'm not either and live in Canada. I had no problem opening the article and reading it.

I got a subscriber only message when I tried both before and after your reply, and do not want to give CNN what I would need to give to subscribe, for a single article.

Wonder if it’s Canada vs US. One of the many reasons it’s better north of the border, where there’s still real winter.

A number of people told me when they clicked on the article it says "For Subscribers". I got that too appearing on the top left corner of the page but just scrolled down below it and was able to read the article.
