A reminder that this is Trump's second term. Trump having been president was an advantage that allowed him to beat Kamala Harris. Incumbency helped Trump. Trump in his first term inherited Obama's economy which was growing. People selectively remembered the economy doing well under Trump. 1/3

His voters have decided that he was not president in 2020. His mouthpieces promote this idea.

Also people were willing to give Trump a pass during the 2020 COVID virus. Why? Because it was something nobody was prepared for. Unfortunately COVID was dropped on Biden, handing him a bad economy and a spreading of the virus. He had to try and limit the spread while jump starting the economy. 2/3

Which in turn sparked the inflation around the world. This along with pulling out of Afghanistan, the start of the Ukraine / Russian War, and the start of the Israel / Gaza war combined exacerbated Biden's disapproval. Aside from Afghanistan pull out, the other wars were out of his control. 3/3

Jump-starting the American economy absolutely DID NOT cause global inflation. Are you high? Global supply shocks due to supply chain collapse caused inflation, exacerbated by corporate greed. I'm no Biden stan but American inflation was the lowest globally specifically *because* of his policy.

Sorry. This was poorly written. I meant that at the end of COVID, the aftermath was world wide inflation. This compounded Biden’s troubles even though it was outside of his control.

Inflation was then made worse and stickier by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
