Every time I take one of my prescription meds I wonder how long I'll be able to get it. Will the CDC withdraw approval so my insurance doesn't cover it? Will tariffs make it too expensive or kill the supply chain? Will RFKJr. outright ban it? Because obviously if i need meds I'm unworthy of life.

I know this is obviously not possible for everyone bc you need the meds you need but... At one point I was taking like 5 different psych meds and seeing this coming, I got myself down to 2 and they seem to be keeping my head above water. One is an antidepressant but not SSRI so maybe dipshit

won't notice it. The other is an anxiolytic but not a benzo and not widely used so probably under his radar.

I didn't put this earlier because most people just don't have these options, but, yeah, I'm lowering my dose on the SSRI, I lost 50 pounds so I won't be at as much risk if I can't get blood pressure meds, and I've located an essential oil that could stand in for one of my inhalers.

I’m almost certain to lose my Medicaid coverage, thankfully I have other options going forward, but I’m still salty.

Yeah, they've come for Medicaid first but it's going to be bad for everything pretty quick. CVS and Walgreens being afraid to give Covid vaccines is the tip of the iceberg.

This is serious…really serious. My son needs a new medication He needed his doctor to ask for prior authorization of his AARP UnitedHealth next week he will see if they will pay for some of it…

Sympathy. The health insurance business is already a dangerous travesty. I hope the prior authorization comes through.

This! And it's not as if I can ask for extra months' worth of pills, because they sinply don't do that! Because I could be illegally selling my blood pressure and blood thinner meds on the street for meth!

One of my pills are RXed for 2 a day but I only take one and my doctor knows that, allowing me to build a stockpile. I don't need my inhaler frequently but my doctor RXed several per fill so, I got a drawer full of them.

I asked my doctor if she could Rx extra of the inhaler. I said: you'll probably think I'm overreacting but I'm concerned about supply chain issues with the new admin. She said: you're absolutely not overreacting.

If someone has a good relationship with your prescriber, I would advise asking if there's something like this they can do to help build a stockpile.

The one thing I do is set automatic refills at the mail-order pharmacy. To keep their own cash flowing, they will refill as early as they can, and sometimes I can get a couple of weeks ahead. Not good enough, but something.
