You know damn well, though, that one of his minions would stick their entire hand up his ass and make him talk like a muppet. The %1 would figure out a way around it and find another puppet they can use to fleece the rest of us normal folks.

Probably. But to see him, unable to voice his concerns as those around him scramble for power would just be... Not quite "vegetative," but with it enough to see what's happening, his supposed empire crumbling as quickly as it grew.
