How about just answer the question? We know Republicans like to throw word salad at any question. Lets just try something different. Give a plain answer. Not focus group stuff. Not a both sides thing. Yes or no. Do you support it or not. And why.

I'm genuinely curious as to why you need to hear a 'no' to believe it is no. Unless someone is giving you an enthusiastic yes, why would you perceive it to be anything else?

I just want a straight answer. I don’t want to perceive anything. Do you feel the question was answered in this exchange?

It wasn’t a no. It was an “I’m afraid to answer because it could hurt me when I’m up for re-election in 2030, so I’ll stick to my prepared canned answer.” I think that’s worse than a no, because a no would show she has principles.

This is the problem. People just insert their own beliefs of what they want something to mean. I do agree she shows no principles.
