I laud Merkel's initiative to bring in over a million immigrants. Her main concern was a declining workforce. And she thought, with time, that the new influx would be Germanized. She was wrong. The ethics that made Germany great in the past are now subdued and enclaves of other civilizations abound.

That's why Trump and ICE are out to get rid of migrants. In 1933, ICE was called "SA" in Germany.
