Thank you for sharing this piece. My one issue here is that you have not clearly defined long covid and its varying parameters - for example, many in the field include *temporary*loss of smell/taste in this definition.

Whoever wrote it is not a good writer: it is rambling and I don't really get what they want me to believe.
1. You have to verify any booster you get is the current one. Your Doctor & Pharmacist may not give you accurate info. You need to get detail on the booster they plan on giving you. 2. The Biden Admin wanted to declare the Pandemic over, so they ended vigilance and policies and cooked the books.

Trump was stupid about Covid, as Trump is about every issue, and there was never any question about his stupidity on it. Biden, however, who is not unintelligent, lied and lied, over and over, about Covid, and his administration put out batch after batch of misinformation and confusing declarations
I can forgive people being exhausted by the confusing standards and not knowing who or what to believe. What I have trouble with is democrats refusing to apply basic fact checking to this era, out of reflexive defensiveness of Biden or the fact that they heard what they wanted to hear.
But the threat of Covid very much doesn’t care that Biden was a better person than trump. On this issue, his administration’s fealty to a “return to normal” over reality cost us hundreds of thousands of lives, lost and ruined by long covid, and laid the ground for hundreds of thousands more.
And the worst thing is that all of this taught the government that when the next pandemic comes around - or a new Covid variant overcomes the protection of the vaccines - they can just lie to us about it, and most people will say “oh thank you so much, as long as it’s only THOSE people dying.”
The Leopards, it turns out, can cough in your face, too.

This is worth reading and certainly explains why so many of us don’t trust Democrats anymore. All I needed was the truth and the Biden administration didn’t give it to us.
