No disrespect to previous person but OG Gundam is really well written, it suffers from a low budget (it wasn’t supposed to be a hit tv show or launch a mega franchise) but they do a lot w what they got

Oh no, absolutely. It’s got the best, most grounded story of the series, pretty much without exception. But because of its age and the aforementioned low budget, I’ve found it prudent to offer newcomers the guidance that it is okay to bounce off, even if I would prefer they love it as I do!

I will always take new fans of Gundam in any form over fostering the mistaken belief that 0079 must be experienced in full in order to be “allowed” to watch more. (Not that you’re implying such, of course)
