This is correct. There isn't something about being a religious leader or a coach or a Scout leader that makes someone a sex offender. Sex offenders seek out activities that give them access and put them in positions of authority.

Religion & Scouts; walked away @ 14. Fellow scout & i goofing off, got called out by the Lead. He had us both in push up position while 2 other scouts stood on our fingers. I asked 1 of them to let me go pee & when up, I pushed the other off my friends fingers & we both left. Never went back.

That is the modus operandi of predators. When I was 17, a POS twice my age threatened to tell my mother I smoked pot unless I had sex with him. He definitely chose the wrong victim. I told him I got the pot from my mother and he could go fuck himself. (I did not actually get the weed from Mom.)
