The Sermon on the Mount teaches that one shouldn't focus on the splinter in another's eye when one has a plank in their own eye. It's one of the clearest moral teachings in the Bible. Understand that hypocrisy does not bother Republicans. Jesus' teachings do not apply to them. They don't care.
