Ah, got it. My father did calligraphy, too. I don't have the patience. It was arduous doing the Spencerian penmanship course. My handwriting improved, but it still isn't calligraphy!

Isn't it frustrating to know the difference? People say, 'Oh, I admire your calligraphy' and it's hard not to say 'This is just fancy handwriting — calligraphy is a lot more work,' but they're just offering kind words, so…
